Research Interest

Dr, Martínez focused on Evaluation of the anticancerigenous and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the anxiolytic, sedative and anti-convulsive properties of secondary metabolites isolated in medicinal plants and identified by chemical and spectroscopic methods. To establish the relationship between structural changes and the biological activity through the evaluation of the biological effects of the derivatives obtained by chemical methods, based on the more active secondary metabolites.
