Department of Inorganic Chemistry
National Autonomous University of Mexico
Vojtech Janick obtained his MSc. degree at the Masaryk University, Brno, Chezc Republic and his Doctoral degree with honours with Prof. Herbert W. Roesky, from Georg-August University in Gotinga, Germany. During this period, he also collaborated with the group of Prof. Dr. George M. Sheldrick where he received training in the structural determination by X-ray monocrystal diffraction. Later, he held a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Chemistry of the National University of Mexico, and since March 2007, holds a position in the same institution as Full Researcher. He has published more than 55 scientific articles in international journals.
Vojtech Janick focused on Inorganic and organometallic chemistry of representative elements and lanthanides, reparation of soluble molecular heterometallic systems with relevance in materials chemistry or catalysis, Coordination chemistry of phosphazenes.
