Biography
Graduated from the Bachelor of actuary of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), attended a master's degree in computer science at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). With a 20 years career, of which 17 has worked at Pemex, Sánchez Santiago has held different positions at the corporate finance department. In 1998, he joined Petroleos Mexicanos as analyst, in 2003, he was the Risks Guidelines Unit Chief and in 2007, he was appointed Risk Control Manager of this area. Subsequently, in 2011, he joined PMI Comercio Internacional as Deputy Director of Risk Control, position he occupied until 2012 when he was appointed Deputy Director of Commodities Derivatives Trading. Since 2013, he worked as Director of Administration and Finance of PMI, having in charge administration of financial, materials and human resources of the companies of the group. He has also attended various courses at prestigious institutions in Mexico, United States and the United Kingdom, such as Baruch College and London Financial Studies.
