Noemi Lordméndez Valenzuela

Biography

Graduated with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1989 with a bachelor´s degree in Accounting. She obtained the accreditation as Certified Public Accountant in December 2002 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Mexico, since then she has complied with all the requirements issued by the Institute to maintain a valid membership.  Her active attendance and performance in several congresses, courses, forums and specialties or diplomas related to the fields of Accounting, Tax, Finance and Budget, let her forge a sustainable and prominent trajectory within the profession. In December 1990 she joined P.M.I. Comercio Internacional, S.A. de C.V. (PMI CIM) and since then she has held different positions, initially as a National Accounting Analyst then as Head of Accounting, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager and Accounting and Budget Vice President. Highlighting in these last two, the responsibility for preparing and issuing the financial information of the different companies of PMI Group (group integrated by 20 companies controlled by the group and 8 partnerships with external counterparties, all incorporated worldwide, i.e. Mexico, United States of America, Spain, The Netherlands and Ireland). In August 2015 she was appointed as Chief Financial Officer by the Board of Directors of PMI CIM, being responsible for establishing strategies for the use of financial resources, as well as directing the financial, accounting, tax and risk management activities of the company.
