Biography
Arturo Rodriguez Hicks has over 14 years of experience as an environmental and safety process specialist with extensive experience in Mexican industrial operations. His expertise is in industrial air quality, wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, permit applications, work plans for EHS compliance, due diligence, energy efficiency assessments, EHS management systems and site investigations and cleanup feasibility studies. He has conducted EHS audits and provided regulatory compliance assistance and litigation support to industrial and commercial clients throughout Mexico. Arturo has consulted for numerous manufacturing operations under the Maquiladora Program, and has served as a senior project manager for various multinational corporations operating in Mexico and Latin America. He co-founded Hicks Environmental S.C. in Mexico, where he served as Principal. Arturo has also served as a technical advisor to the state government in Chihuahua regarding environmental matters. He has an MSc in environmental engineering from the University of Manchester (UK), and BS in chemical engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
