Dr. Jaime Serra Puche, Ph.D., is a Co-Founder and Senior Partner/Founding Partner of SAI Consultores, S.C. Dr. Puche served as the Principal of Nafta Fund of Mexico Management, LLC. He served as a Mexico's Secretary of Finance and Public Credit since 1994; Mexico's Secretary of Trade and Industry from 1988 to 1994; Mexico's Under-Secretary of Revenue; and Ministry of Finance and Public Credit from 1986 to 1988. He was Secretary for Mexico's Trade and Industrial Promotion. He founded the Mexican Investment Board and promoted the creation of the Mexican Federal Competition Commission. He was employed at Gabriel Technologies Corporation. He served as Chairman of SAI Consultores, S.C. Dr. Puche has been a Director at Vitro, S.A.B. de C.V. since 1998. He has been an Independent Director of The Mexico Fund, Inc. since 1997, BBVA Bancomer, S.A. and Grupo Rotoplas, S.A.B. de C.V. since 2003. He serves as a Director of Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V. He serves as a Director of Alcatel Indetel S.A. de C.V. and Tubos de Acero de México S.A. He has been an Independent Director at ALPEK, S.A.B. de C.V. since April 2012. Dr. Puche has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Fresnillo PLC since May 16, 2014. He has been Independent Director of Tenaris S.A. since 2003. He serves as a Independent Directors of Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer, S.A. de C.V. He serves as a Director of Grupo Ferroviario Mexicano, Fondo México, Bardahl, PVI, Tamsa. He served as an Independent Director at Chiquita Brands International Inc. from January 2003 to May 23, 2013. Dr. Puche served as Director at Southern Copper Corp. (also known as Southern Peru Copper Corp). He served as a Trustee of Yale Corporation. He is a Member of the Trilteral Commission and the United States-Mexico Bilateral Council. He is a Co-Chairman of The President Council on International Activities at Yale University. He is a Professor at El Colegio de Mexico, Stanford University, Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona) and New York University. He was a Weinberg Visiting Professor at Princeton University. He received the National Scientific and Social Sciences Research Award in 1986, as well as the Mexican National Prize in Economics in 1979. He is a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration from National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Puche holds an Master's degree in Economics at El Colegio de México and Ph.D. in Economics from the Yale University.
