Biography
In his role as MD and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking, Dany is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Scotiabank’s investment banking and mergers and acquisitions operations globally. Dany co-chairs the investment banking operating committee and is also a voting member of the Equity Liability and Mergers & Acquisitions Opinion Review Committees. During his 15 year career at Scotiabank, Dany has acted as lead underwriter and M&A advisor on numerous transactions comprised of IPOs, public and private equity and debt financings, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions for consumer product and retail companies. Dany also has senior client coverage responsibility for a number of Scotiabank’s most important corporate clients. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Dany spent five years with Pratt & Whitney Canada, where he held design and manufacturing positions. Dany holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with Distinction, and a Masters of Aerospace Engineering.
