Biography
Kevin is responsible for Scotiabank’s global capital markets and FICC businesses, and also heads the Bank’s US and Latin American capital markets businesses. In addition, Kevin manages Equity Capital Markets, Collateral Management and Funding, XVA, Loan Sales and Trading, and Securitization. Previously, he served as the Senior Adviser to the CEO of Global Banking and Markets, responsible for the division’s global strategy and strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Kevin was a Managing Partner of Guggenheim Partners and held senior roles at RBC Capital Markets, based in New York. He began his career as an attorney with the U.S. Commodity Futures and Trading Commission, Division of Trading and Markets, in Washington, D.C. and was associated with an international law firm in New York. Kevin holds a Masters of Law degree in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.
