Preet Dhindsa

Biography

Mr. Preet S. Dhindsa is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Director with 25 years’ experience primarily in the financial services and gaming & lottery industries, and in professional services with the Big 4 global accounting firms. Preet currently holds the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Global Banking and Markets at the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) based in Toronto. Recently, Preet held the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer & Chief Financial Officer at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) located in Toronto. Preet was accountable for finance, enterprise risk management, human resources, information technology, and corporate administration. OLG is a company with revenue of $7 billion, profit of $2 billion, 16,000 direct and indirect employees, and is the largest government agency by revenue in Ontario. Earlier in his career, Preet held executive positions at Invesco Trimark, a member of Invesco Ltd., a publicly traded global wealth management firm, in the areas of finance, human resources and national sales leadership. Preet is a past Board member of the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (Canada), and the Halton Children’s Aid Society. Preet currently sits on the Advisory Board of Rosenzweig & Company, a globally recognized boutique executive search firm. Preet has also been selected by the Canadian Board Diversity Council (CBDC) as a Diversity 50 2016 Board Candidate. Preet holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Western Ontario, and a Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition, he obtained a Chartered Director designation from The Directors College - a joint venture of McMaster University and The Conference Board of Canada.
