Biography
Mr. Farrell is a credit underwriter and operations specialist at SG Capital Partners. Prior to joining SGCP, Mr. Farrell was a Vice President at RBS in their Credit Risk Management department from 2006 to 2015. In 2009, he attained the position of Head of Loan Underwriting, where he was responsible for the complete oversight and management for all residential mortgage due diligence related to whole loan acquisitions, securitizations, loan sale advisory, and warehousing repo transactions. In that role, he was also responsible for the drafting, maintenance, and execution of all due diligence policies, underwriting procedures, and purchase guidelines. Prior to RBS, Mr. Farrell was employed at Clayton Holdings from 2002 to 2006 holding various positions including a Director of Mortgage Due Diligence, where he was responsible for managing loan underwriting engagements on behalf his clients that included Investment Banks, REITs, Hedge Funds, and the GSEs. Mr. Farrell holds a BS from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
