Biography
Ms. Utarid is the Controller at Shelter Growth Capital Partners and its affiliate SG Capital Partners. Prior to joining SGCP, Ms. Utarid was a Controller of Artha Capital Management Inc. At Artha Capital, she was responsible for managing the production of fund daily and month-end financial reporting, coordinating completion of the annual financial statement audit and tax reporting to investors, and maintaining the books and records, budgets, and tax reporting of the management company. Prior to Artha Capital, Ms. Utarid was an Assistant Vice President at JPM Morgan Hedge Fund Services, where she performed various portfolio accounting services as a senior accounting supervisor. Ms. Utarid’s career in financial services also includes fund accounting at Paloma Partners and public accounting with Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in the audit of Hedge funds and Private Equity firms. Ms. Utarid holds a BA in Accounting from IONA College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 2002.
