Biography
Mr. Seltzer is a Portfolio Manager at Shelter Growth Capital Partners. Prior to joining SGCP, Mr. Seltzer was a Vice President at Barclays Capital. From 2006 until 2011, Mr. Seltzer was a Strategist in the Fixed Income Research Department responsible for focused coverage of the Agency MBS market. In this role, Mr. Seltzer was a contributing author to the Securitized Products Weekly writing about market trends, prepayment data, and managing a model portfolio with trade recommendations. He was also a presenter at the annual Securitized Products Investor Conference and at other industry events. From 2011 until 2015, Mr. Seltzer was a trader on the Agency MBS Trading Desk at Barclays Capital. In this role, Mr. Seltzer was responsible for trading 15yr TBA flow and 30yr specified pools with both external clients and the firm’s internal CMO structuring desk. Mr. Seltzer holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and an MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
