Biography
Jakeman received a BS in chemistry from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, in 2001 and a PharmD from the University of New Mexico in 2007. She completed a PGY1 residency at the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System and PGY2 in infectious diseases at UNM Health Sciences Center. She works as a clinician educator and clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases and HIV. She joined the faculty at UNM College of Pharmacy in 2009.
Research Interest
Her research relates to her work with infectious diseases and HIV and includes pharmacotherapy interventions, effective practice initiatives and teaching initiatives.
