Research Interest

Dr. Norenberg’s research focuses on targeted delivery of radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging and therapy of cancer and the translation from pre-clinical to clinical applications. He is an expert in the design and development of targeted radioligands for molecular imaging and therapy. His work in the discovery and development of radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging and therapy have resulted in seven (7) issued patents, more than 100 scholarly works, generating over $23,000,000 in extramural funding to support basic and clinical research and innovative curriculum development at UNM.
