Biography
Vilay was educated in Canada, receiving a BS in pharmacy from the University of Alberta in 2000 and a PharmD from the University of Toronto in 2007.
Research Interest
Vilay studies drug pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in patients with chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury in order to optimize drug therapies and the delivery of kidney dialysis. Clinical studies she has been involved in have resulted in dosing recommendations for ertapenem and daptomycin in critically ill patients undergoing continuous hemodialysis.
