Biography
Borrego received a BS in pharmacy (1989) and an MS in hospital pharmacy administration (1995) from the University of New Mexico. He received a PhD in pharmacoeconomics and social and administrative sciences from the University of Arizona in 1998. He is a senior fellow and serves as the co-director of the Research, Education and Training Core of the New Mexico Center for the Advancement of Research, Engagement, and Science on Health Disparities.
Research Interest
Borrego’s research interests include pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes, health policy, health disparities, health literacy and pharmacy education. He maintains an active research program in pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes, health disparities/literacy and pharmacy education.
