Biography
Disco received a BS in pharmacy (1973) and an MBA (1983) from the University of New Mexico. Her 40-year career in pharmacy includes experience in health-system and retail pharmacies as a staff pharmacist, assistant manager, pharmacy manager, and regional pharmacy manager. She has spent the last quarter of her career at the College of Pharmacy managing the experiential programs and teaching in the professional program. For the last three years, Disco has served as the HSC Director of Interprofessional Education, helping to develop and implement programs for students to learn with, about and from each other and to collaborate and work in teams to improve patient care and health outcomes.
