Assistant Professor
Otolaryngologist

Biography
Not all ENT-related issues require surgery. Dr. Agan is experienced in the latest medical therapies, such as use of botulinum toxin, more commonly referred to by the brand name Botox, for conditions like migraine headache, spasmodic dysphonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and Frey’s syndrome. She also advises patients on the use of complementary and integrative/alternative medical therapies. “Many patients are fine with taking a pill for treatment of diagnoses such as laryngopharyngeal reflux or sinusitis, but there are others who want to discuss alternative options. I am well versed in these areas, so I can tell my patients what’s worthwhile and what’s not,” Dr. Agan says. “As doctors, we have to be equipped with all sorts of tools to tailor our care to our patients, and provide them what they want and need while keeping them safe.”
