Biography
Dick Weeda serves as the Director of IT for the UNM Medical Group (UNMMG) and has been with UNMMG for over 26 years. Weeda is responsible for the overall management oversight of information technology used by the medical group's billing operations. Areas of coverage include servers, desktop and laptop computers and laser and multi-function printers used by UNMMG staff. It includes the software and security placed on computers, laptops, handheld devices and USB/thumb drives. IT also supports the GE/IDX application software, all ancillary software used in UNMMG billing operations, and the UNMMG information system, internet pages and intranet. In his spare time, Weeda enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, daughters, and granddaughter.
