Biography
Dr. Fowler has 25 years of experience as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) and has been teaching clinically for over 15 years. This is his first full-time faculty position. Dr. Fowler brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our nurse anesthesia program. He gives all the praise and glory to his Savior, Jesus Christ, and has been blessed with the special opportunity to serve both the program and his Savior. Dr. Fowler will have the responsibility of classroom teaching, simulation training, and clinical teaching. The nurse, the CRNA, and the educator all have a certain responsibility for caring for someone else. Nurses and CRNAs care for their patients; in body, mind, and spirit. Educators care about the ability to transfer knowledge and experiences to another individual. The Lord has blessed Dr. Fowler with the gift of mentoring; a special spirit of teaching where mentors don’t merely exchange knowledge, but immerse themselves on a journey with their students.
