Biography
Anirudh Kumar is an Implementation Research Fellow at Possible in partnership with the Arnhold Institute for Global Health. In this role, he works with the Impact Team on research in the domains of non-communicable disease, geospatial mapping, and electronic health record analytics. He is completing his MD and MPH at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he is a Dean’s Scholar in Global Health. Anirudh has worked at health and development organizations in the USA (Mount Sinai EHHOP), Kenya (AMPATH), and India (CRHP). His passion is to empower marginalized populations by piloting and researching novel global health delivery & implementation strategies. Anirudh has expertise in non-communicable disease, mental health, gender-based violence, quality improvement, and education. He completed his BA at Columbia University, specializing in Sustainable Development and Anthropology. Anirudh is dedicated to becoming a physician-advocate, researcher, and policymaker who contributes to the health equity movement.
