Mark R. Straley

Biography

 Mr. Mark R. Straley has been Chief Executive Officer of Agendia N.V. since August 2015. Mr. Straley serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Agendia, Inc. He has more than 25 years of international experience developing and commercializing clinical diagnostics and laboratory services. Mr. Straley served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Metamark Genetics, Inc. until November 5, 2012. He served as President, Anatomical Pathology of Thermo Fisher Scientific of Waltham, Massachusetts. He was proven General Manager with Sales and Marketing expertise in the Global Healthcare Industry. He served as Chief Operating Officer of AusAm Biotechnologies, Inc. since August 2004. From 2005 to 2010, he held positions at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a J&J company, first as Worldwide Vice President of Marketing and then as Worldwide Commercial President. Most recently, he served as the Worldwide President of Johnson & Johnson's Diagnostics division accountable for $2B in revenue with global responsibility for sales, marketing, customer support and commercial operations. He joined Johnson & Johnson in 2005 as the Global Vice President of Marketing for the Diagnostics division. Prior to his assignment with J&J, Mr. Straley worked for such brand name companies as Bayer Healthcare and Abbott Laboratories where he held progressively responsible roles in sales, marketing and general management in several North American locations. He served as a Director of Metamark Genetics, Inc. until November 5, 2012. Mr. Straley earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1983.
