Biography
Chivers has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, specializing in the safety assessment, development of protein and antibody-based therapeutics. Prior to joining ADC Therapeutics, Dr. Chivers spent six years with Novartis, most recently as Executive Director and Global Head of Biologics Safety Assessment, responsible for the non-clinical development of the Novartis biologics portfolio. Prior to Novartis he was a senior non-clinical safety assessment expert at AstraZeneca, working closely with MedImmune. In addition, Dr. Chivers has held leadership roles at Syngenta BioPharma, Syngenta CTL and Quintiles. Dr. Chivers has a degree in Pharmacology from University College London and a Ph.D. in Applied Pharmacology from Imperial College London.
