Biography

More than 15 years of experience in dentistry! Docent in Riga Stradiņš University.   Since 1996 trains students and doctors in Riga Stradiņš University. In 1998 did a traineeship in Germany. Active in the science field, studies ceramic materials together with Riga Technical University and Riga Biomaterial and Innovation and Development Centre. Author of many papers of international congresses and scientific publications, reviewer of scientific publications.  In 1996 graduated the Medical Academy of Latvia and obtained the degree of dentist. In 1999 finished residency in the Medical Academy of Latvia under the guidance of professor P. Apse and acquired the qualification of dental prosthetist. In 2009 defended her dissertation about white composite and ceramic filling and obtained a Doctoral Degree in Medicine of the Republic of Latvia. Improves her qualification constantly by attending local and international courses, lectures and congresses. Performs filling of teeth, endodontic treatment, root inlays, renewal of teeth and replacement of lost teeth. Does prosthesis on implants and teeth with crowns, dental bridges and removable plastic and metallic prosthesis. Qualified to perform planning and treating of complicated prosthetics as well as aesthetic dentistry. Performs whitening of teeth, makes porcelain veneers, inlays, onlays, metal-free ceramic crowns and bridges.
