Biography

Mike Beem, dentist-general practitioner and implantologist After my studies in dentistry at the University of Amsterdam, I settled in Amstelveen in Amsterdam on the Amsterdamseweg in 1985 as a successor to dentist Mulder. After the practice became too big for this stately mansion, it moved to the Laan Rozenburg. The new location made further growth possible and in 2000 the foundation was laid by me for the current Aemstelgroep dentists. In 2005 the Medical Center Bankras was added to the Aemstelgroep and in 2009, in addition to the existing practices at the Laan Rozenburg, a modern dental center with 7 treatment rooms was realized. Within the Aemstelgroep I am responsible for the general course of affairs and I am involved in complicated, besides general practice, complicated treatments, such as extensive crown and bridge work and implantology. Through a quiet and professional attitude, I try to build up a good relationship with all my patients, which enables me to stay in line with the patient's changing demand for care. Furthermore, I have been active in the NMT for 25 years, the last 13 years as chairman of the Amstelveen circle and in the board of the Amsterdam, Haarlem and surroundings department, where I was responsible for the portfolio quality. I am also the founder and chairman of the foundation Amsterdam dentists.
