Biography
Simone Blank - Mrs. Blank has been a private investor since 2014, after having served for 15 years as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sirona Dental Systems, the world’s largest manufacturer of dental technology. During her tenure the Company went through three leveraged buyouts and a reverse merger, which resulted in a listing of Sirona at Nasdaq in 2006. From 2006 until 2013 she also was a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to 1999, Mrs. Blank was a senior engagement manager in the merger and acquisition transaction group of PricewaterhouseCoopers after having gained extensive global financial experience as a certified public accountant and tax advisor for over 10 years. Currently Mrs. Blank is a member of the Boards of Somatex Medical Technologies GmbH, a specialist for minimally invasive single use medical instruments and Optimed Medizinische Instrumente GmbH , a specialist for minimal invasive therapy, particularly in vascular interventions.
