Biography
Rob joined Liquavista from Amazon Lab126, where he led the display and touch engineering group. In his time at Lab126, Rob and his team contributed to the launch of over 15 products, including the critically acclaimed Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Voyage. Prior to joining Amazon, Rob spent 10 years at E Ink Corporation, where he helped bring electronic paper technology from the research laboratory into full-scale mass production. Rob holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from The University of Chicago, and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Bell Labs, where he studied the fabrication of photonic band-gap materials. Rob holds over 35 U.S. patents for innovation in display and photonics technologies.
