Jacques Arend

Biography

Jacques has over twenty six years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where he has held senior positions in medical and clinical development. He joined AM-Pharma in February 2008. Prior to AM-Pharma, Jacques was at Grünenthal, followed by a Medical Director’s position for Kendle’s Phase I 50-bed Clinical Pharmacology Unit, Utrecht (NL). Previously, he was the  local Medical Director at Novo Nordisk (NL) where he held three international positions as Director of Medical, Regulatory and Quality based in Austria, Greece and Switzerland, respectively. In these positions, he was responsible for the largest geographical region in Novo Nordisk and set up clinical studies throughout numerous regions in Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Russia and Asia.
