Ellen Mackenzie

Biography

  Ellen MacKenzie joined Anika Therapeutics, Inc. as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller on September 26, 2016. Most recently, Ms. MacKenzie worked as a consultant for CFGI, a specialized financial consulting firm where she provided financial leadership to companies experiencing a range of routine and complex business scenarios. Prior to her work at CFGI, Ms. MacKenzie was the Senior Director and Controller for Benchmark Senior Living where she streamlined their financial reporting processes and restructured, developed, and managed a large team of accountants performing with a broad range of responsibilities including acquisition and strategic initiatives.  Before that she held CFO and Corporate Controller positions at organizations including Catalyst Health Ventures and Bain Willard Companies, LP. Ms. MacKenzie began her career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young, LLP. Ellen holds a B.S. in Accounting from Merrimack College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and she is a Certified Public Account (inactive).
