Philip Austin

Biography

  Phil is a Founding Partner at Anterra Capital where he currently leads Anterra's US office.  He has 8 years of investment experience, having previously worked at Rabo Ventures (Amsterdam) and Atlas Ventures (London). During his time at these firms, he concentrated on industrial technology and F&A investments with a focus on the application of biotechnology to these sectors. Prior to this, Phil was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company's Washington DC and London offices. Phil has also worked in procurement at ICI and R&D at a life sciences start-up.    Phil holds a Master of Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, and has studied at Harvard University and the London School of Economics.
