Xiaolei Shi Phd Msc

Biography

 In 2016, Xiaolei started working as a trainee patent agent for Arnold + Siedsma. He has extensive hands-on research experience in various biomedical fields. While pursuing his doctorate and master degree at Erasmus University Medical Center, he developed a state-of-the-art technique for immune monitoring, and studied the immunological and viral mechanisms involved in transplant tolerance. His work resulted in various publications, and was awarded the van Rood Award by the Nederlandse Transplantatie Vereniging. His research experience also includes the secretion system of Escherichia coli, when he worked as a student research assistant during medical school, as well as the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer, when he studied at the University of Michigan as an exchange student. Thanks to his growing interest in technology innovation and commercial world over the years, Xiaolei pursues his career in intellectual property at Arnold + Siedsma, where he will also be involved in the business development in China.
