Biography
Mr. Sergey Viktorovich Chemezov serves as Chief Executive Officer of Rostec, the state corporation for promoting the development, production and export of high-tech industrial products. Mr. Chemezov served as Chief Executive Officer at Federal State Unitary Enterprise Promexport from 1999 to 2001. In 1980, Mr. Chemezov began working at the experimental industrial association Luch. From 1983 to 1988, he managed Luch’s representative office in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). From 1988 to 1996, he worked as Deputy Director for Foreign Trade at the Sovintersport export association. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Chemezov was Head of Foreign Economic Relations in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. Since February 2001, Mr. Chemezov worked as First Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosoboronexport. From 2004 to 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosoboronexport. Mr. Chemezov serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the following companies: Rosoboronexport, VSMPO-AVISMA, Kamaz and Uralkali. He served as Chairman of The Board at Public Joint Stock Company Uralkali and served as its Director since March 2014. He serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ. Mr. Chemezov serves on the Boards of Directors of United Shipbuilding Corporation, International Financial Club and Alliance Rostec Auto BV. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the state-owned United Rocket and Space Corporation.
