Biography
Danny received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/ biomolecular sciences in 1997 from the Catholic University Nijmegen. Subsequently, he performed his Ph.D. research in molecular virology at Wageningen University and received his Ph.D. degree in 2001. After working as a post-doc at Utrecht University and the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, he switched to industry in 2007, working as a senior scientist for Viroventures BV in Rotterdam. From there, he went to bioMerieux BV in Boxtel, where he worked as associate staff scientist in the molecular diagnostics department on a staff-leasing base via Yacht BV. Subsequently, he worked as a project setup manager Clinical Trials for Eurofins Medinet in Breda, after which he joined BaseClear in May 2011 as product specialist Molecular Biology.
