Biography
Jeff Welch serves as the Vice President of Business Development. Jeff has been with Bioventus since its 2012 inception, serving previously as Director of Business Development. Prior to Bioventus, Jeff served in business development positions in Smith & Nephew’s spine and biologics business, as general manager of biology operations at Nanosyn (previously Amphora Discovery), and as a life science venture banker with Square 1 Bank. Jeff’s career transactional experience spans all manner of agreement structures across more than fifteen different partnerships. Prior to his business experience, Jeff spent nine years in academic science. Education Jeff holds a B.S. in economics and biology from Duke University, and a PhD in neurobiology, also from Duke University.
