Biography
Joined the Board in May 2015. Clare is Chair of Bupa's Audit Committee and is a member of Bupa's Risk and Nomination & Governance Committees. She is also a member of the UK Regulated Entities Board. Clare brings a wealth of experience, particularly in the areas of finance and insurance. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Direct Line Group and Retail Charity Bonds plc, a Non-Executive member of the Partnership Board of Miller Insurance Services LLP and a Trustee and Treasurer of the Disasters Emergency Committee. Clare was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 1988 until 2011. Whilst she was at PwC, she held several senior and high profile roles, particularly within the insurance sector. Clare is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
