Biography
Sir John was Chairman of the Medical Advisory Panel during 2015. He brings his medical expertise, gained over 40 years, to advise the Board on clinical governance and advances in healthcare practices and treatments. A consultant physician, Sir John is immediate past President of the Academy of Medical Sciences. He chairs the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation, joint between UCL and Oxford University, and is Executive Chairman of Academic Health Solutions Ltd. Sir John is also a member of the Independent Review Board for Google DeepMindHealth.
