Biography
Arno Mulder is a Senior Technician. Participation in research projects using a wide range of laboratory and field equipment for soils and rocks. Site investigation with CPT, resistivity and ground penetration radar and drilling equipment. Design and fabrication of new test facilities for (research) projects. Preparation of test specimens for rock, soil and aggregate testing, using drilling, sawing, polishing and breaking equipment. Organisation and supervision of laboratory and field practical’s for BSc and MSc students. Consultancy work, testing a large variety of rocks, soils and aggregates, following ASTM, EN-NEN and British Standards and related reporting. Area manager of a section of the laboratory, responsible for the safety of laboratory users and test facilities.
