Biography
Hans Driessen obtained the MSc and PhD degree in 1987 and 1992, respectively, both from the department of Electrical Engineering at the TU-Delft. Since then he has been employed with Thales Nederland BV. He has held various positions as system designer of plot extraction and track processing, technical authority on tracking and data fusion, and knowledge and technology manager in the area of algorithms for radar signal/data processing and radar management. He has been involved in the acquisition, execution and monitoring of a variety of (inter)national research projects, including EDA and EU FP6/7 projects. From January 1st, he holds a partime position as associate professor at the EEMCS faculty in the Microwave Signals Sensor and Systems group in the field of Radar Systems, Waveforms and Processing.
