Biography
Tamas Keviczky received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree from the Control Science and Dynamical Systems Center, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 2005. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Delft Center for Systems and Control, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. He was a Postdoctoral Scholar in Control and Dynamical Systems, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. He has been serving as Associate Editor of Automatica and he was a corecipient of the AACC O. Hugo Schuck Best Paper Award for Practice in 2005. His research interests include distributed optimization and optimal control, model predictive control, embedded optimization-based control and estimation of large-scale systems with applications in aerospace, automotive and mobile robotics, industrial processes, and infrastructure systems such as water, heat, and electricity networks.
