Biography
Yuan Gao completed his bachelor studies in Department of Illuminating Engineering & Light Sources at Fudan University, China. In 2014, he received the master’s degree from the same department at Fudan University after conducting a research on detection characteristics and prevention strategies of DC fault arcs in PV systems. He started the PhD study in the group of Photovoltaic Materials and Devices at TU Delft in October 2014. Currently, he is working on the project of “PV Shading Devices & Smart Lighting Systems for Sustainable Building Environmentâ€. This project is cooperated with the State Key Laboratory of Solid State Lighting at Changzhou Base and TU Delft Beijing Research Centre.
