Biography
Catherine Hardman qualified from University College Hospital, London in 1989 and began her training in Dermatology in 1993. She has worked as Consultant Dermatologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London since 1999, offering general adult dermatology clinics, in which a wide range of skin disorders are managed, and also runs the Paediatric Dermatology service at Imperial. Areas of special interest include the management of severe eczema in children and the role of food allergy in eczema. Dr Hardman runs a combined Paediatric Allergy/Dermatology clinic which are held at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust with Dr Helen Cox, Consultant Paediatric Allergist. Dr Hardman is actively involved in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates and is part of the teaching faculty of the MSc in Allergy degree course at Imperial College which has been running since 2009. She is married to a General Practitioner in Harrow.
