Portia Goldsmith

Biography

  Portia Goldsmith trained at Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and completed her MRCP whilst doing the SHO rotation there. She then enjoyed 2 years as a medical registrar at Barnet General Hospital. Dr Goldsmith’s dermatology training was largely in London and she was a Wellcome Research Fellow at the Middlesex Hospital where she undertook work into blood flow into the skin and vibration white finger. She has been a Consultant Dermatologist for 17 years. Dr Goldsmith started at the Whittington Hospital for 5 years and for the last 12 has been split between the Royal London Hospital and the Homerton Hospital. Her special interests are Paediatric Dermatology and Contact Allergy but she greatly enjoys General Dermatology.
