Biography
Dr. ing. Meije obtained his Bachelor’s in Medical Microbiology at the College of Advanced Laboratory Education in Utrecht and his Master’s in Medical Biology at the Free University in Amsterdam. He finished his Ph.D. at the Academic Medical Center/University of Amsterdam, Department of Pathology, within the Faculty of Medicine, the Netherlands, in 2002. During his Ph.D. research, he started his career in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry in 2000 and has held several positions from world renowned companies and gained a vast experience in the conduct of clinical trials from concept to study closure in different therapeutic areas.
