Biography
Konthur holds a Dual Honours BSc in Microbiology and Genetics (University of Sheffield, UK), as well as a Magister and a Doctorate in Genetics (both University of Salzburg, Austria). In the past, he has been working as a group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics for over a decade. His research focused on the development and application of high-throughput technologies for the elucidation of antibody-antigen interactions in health and disease. This expertise resulted in numerous scientific articles, reviews, book chapters and patents. Dr. Konthur is co-inventor of DRDx’s IP-protected biomarker-set. In 2012 he co-founded Drug Response Dx GmbH with Dr. J.-M. Hollidt, Dr. K. Skriner and Dr. J. Rautter.
