Biography
Gladys graduated with a BSC degree in Geological Sciences, after which she immediately joined the National Technology & Scientific Research Center, developing structural geology studies. She spent her early career in Geophysics for oil and gas industry working for Western since 1990. Her interest was focus on integrating geological information on refraction statics and velocity models for subtle structures of Neuquén Basin as well as for thrust fold belt areas in LAN. She started working for Paradigm in 2000 in LAN as Senior Geoscientist & Team Leader for PSTM, AVO, and Depth Imaging in areas of South and Central America. Prior to this period, served other major geophysical companies comprising Geco-Prakla -Schlumberger and CGG in USA and LAN. The latter part of her career has been spent at Paradigm working from 2007 as Emerging Technology Leader focused in Wide Azimuth Anisotropic Depth Imaging. She also worked from 2002 as Depth Imaging and Velocity Modeling Senior Geoscientist Technical Advisor for North America-Paradigm Sales Department.Gladys is Geophysics Research and Innovation Manager in Repsol since 2009, leading research and development teams. She is responsible for providing seismic and unconventional technologies supported by advance research projects in HPC. She is EAGE Past President 2013-2014 and was the first women president of EAGE.
