Biography
Markus Hollmann is Professor of Anesthesiology at the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam. He is Chairman of the Department of Experimental & Clinical Experimental Anesthesiology and Vice-Chair Department of Clinical Anesthesiology. He obtained his PhD at the University of Virginia, USA on local anesthetic interactions with G protein coupled receptor signaling in 2002. In 2005 he received a Board Certification of the European Academy of Anesthesiology & Intensive Care (DEAA), in 2008 a Board Certification Intensive Care Medicine and in 2010 a Board Certification Palliative Care Medicine.
