Biography
Dr. Goode is the Company’s Senior Vice President, Research and Development. Dr. Goode brings 15 years of experience working with implantable and external medical devices for use in cardiology and diabetes to his position. Prior to joining EndoStim, Dr. Goode was Vice President of Research and Development for MetaCure Inc., an implantable stimulator company for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. He previously served as Director of Engineering for Impulse Dynamics, an implantable stimulator company for the treatment of congestive heart failure. Prior to this, Dr. Goode was Director of Engineering for DexCom, a glucose sensor company with both implantable and external sensing products. Dr. Goode served in several engineering and scientific positions at MiniMed (now Medtronic Diabetes), Guidant Corporation (now Boston Scientific) and Intermedics (now Boston Scientific). Paul received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is also an inventor of 27 issued U.S. patents.
