Biography
He is a British PhD student at the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague. His research interests centre on the political economy of mining, multinationals and development, and the role of the state within this nexus. He is a Leverhulme Trust grantee, and an affiliated member of the Centre of Expertise for Mining Governance at the Catholic University of Bukavu in the DRC. Before beginning my PhD, he spent several years working for a range of local and international NGOs on human and labour rights issues across the Great Lakes Region of Africa. He currently live in Kinshasa, DRC. He is a British PhD student at the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.
