Biography
Didier Nibbering, a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the Tinbergen Institute and the Econometric Institute at the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam. His research interests are high-dimensional inference, forecasting, and semi-parametric Bayesian inference. His job market paper develops semi-parametric Bayesian estimation methods to deal with large choice sets. In a high-dimensional empirical application, he examine how preferences for holiday destinations differ over different types of households.
