Biography
Niels Rietveld (1988) finished his grammar school education in Rotterdam in 2006. He graduated cum laude in Econometrics and Management Science at the Erasmus School of Economics in 2010. Subsequently, he started his PhD in Economics under the supervision of Professor Roy Thurik, Professor Patrick Groenen and dr. Philipp Koellinger, again in Rotterdam. His research focuses on the genetic determinants of socio-economic behaviour, in particular entrepreneurship and educational attainment.
